Aldis started as a family business in 1990, in Calarasi, a city located along the Danube River, with just 14 employees and a production capacity of 3 tons of processed meat per day.

The vision of George and Alina Naghi was to create a company to be recognized for the quality of the products, based on a structure which is adaptable to the requests and to the changes from the market. 2000 is the year when Aldis became one of the largest meat processors from Romania.
